Walkable restaurants on 30A

Want to park the car and walk to dinner? On Scenic Highway 30A, the towns where people actually do that are Seaside, Alys Beach, and Rosemary Beach. This page is every restaurant in those three.

The guide doesn’t score a restaurant as walkable, so treat this as a town shortcut, not a rating. Seaside’s own town note calls it walkable. Rosemary Beach is cobblestone, built around streets you can cross on foot. Alys Beach is here because the streets are laid out for walking between restaurants, not because a listing says so.

They are not one continuous stroll. Seaside, Alys Beach, and Rosemary Beach are separate stops along the highway. Open one town in the directory or on the map, then switch when you move.

Town Center isn’t the same idea. It’s a neighborhood name, and the Seaside restaurants that use it are on this page. Watersound Origins, north of 30A, has its own town center; those restaurants stay on the Origins page.

Pick one town for the evening. Seaside is the busiest on foot in summer. Rosemary’s cobblestones are charming and a little uneven after dark. Don’t plan to walk from Seaside to Rosemary.

Common questions

Are the three towns one walk?

No. They’re separate stops along the highway, and the directory and the map open one town at a time. Don’t plan to stroll from Seaside to Rosemary Beach. Open Seaside in the directory.

Is Town Center the same as walkable?

No. Town Center is a neighborhood in Seaside, not a walk score. Watersound Origins, north of 30A, has its own town center, and those restaurants stay on that town page. Open Watersound Origins.

How do I map one of these towns?

One town at a time. Start with Seaside, then switch the town control to Alys Beach or Rosemary Beach. Open the Seaside map.
